Orthodontics

Orthodontics began in the mid 1800s and is a specialty in dentistry.  It is the diagnosis, prevention and detection of abnormal teeth and/or jaw alignment.  Approximately 50% of the population, according to the American Association of Orthodontics, have severe malocclusions.  These people could benefit from orthodontic treatment.
